This month’s blog hop is all about sharing a sweet treat that you loved as a kid!

Sweet Adventures Blog Hop - Feb 2014 - Childhood FavouritesWe’re excited to announce our February SABH theme: Childhood Favourites

Remember when kid’s parties were simple? Before Pinterest and highly-styled magazines it was all about sprinkles, rainbow iced cupcakes and honey joys — and it made us dance with sugar-fueled happiness.

But these sensations of yesteryear are not just for the little ones. It’s time to bring back the classic party food and school-yard snacks we loved as kids, and turn them into an amazing new creation that’s perfect for adults.

Get creative and turn a classic on its head — whether that’s super-sizing to an extreme size, adding a little alcohol to make it an adult treat, creating an abstract deconstructed version — or simply recreate a treat that brings the good memories flooding back.

This month Sophie from The Sticky and Sweet is hosting when the hop opens. You can find out more about the theme over at her site now, and link up there when it opens.

The details:

  • Theme: ‘Childhood Favouites’
  • Hostess: Sophie from The Sticky and Sweet
  • Hop opens: Monday 17 February 2014, 9 am (Australian Eastern Standard Time, Sydney)
  • Hop closes: Friday 21 February 2014, 11.59 pm (AEST)

Remember… Only new posts which go live during the week of the hop can be linked up.
